Custom T-Shirts Market On The Rebound
NEWS: Sales Up. Forecast mproved.
By Kevin Kelly

After a slow close out of 2009 and a relatively quite opening 60 days in 2010 the US custom t-shirt market appears to be showing some signs of life. Our monitoring efforts of current distributor stock indicate that suppliers are feeling the same way we are about the potential for robust custom t-shirt sales over the next three months.

One of the factors we use to measure upcoming custom t-shirt trends is visitor activity on goblueheron.com. In most instances purchases made today are a result of research done in the past days, weeks and months. Our indicators such as bookmarks are a strong predictor of “intent “on the part of the consumer. Those planning to purchase in the near future are more likely to bookmark custom t-shirt sites that fit their needs and budgets. Our bookmarks are up 45% in March versus January and 63% over December of 2009. This is positive information regarding consumer intentions.

Custom t-shirt sales are trending back toward more traditional styles as consumers try to play it close to the vest. Our biggest selling styles this year can be found at our custom t-shirt design center.
