Screen printing is an art form. However, with the advent of technologies such as direct-to-garment printing, its limitations are becoming quite apparent. One of the major drawbacks is that you can’t create adequate color separations from low resolution t-shirt art such as jpegs. With digital custom t-shirt printing we can print nearly anything. Many of our customers bring us art that could not be screen printed due to its complexity and low resolution quality. Digital t-shirt printing over comes that hurdle when combined with expert Photoshop skills in the art department.
Digital printing also has no minimum order size. We can print one custom t-shirt if that’s what you need. There are no set-up charges for digital printing. In screen printing there screen charges of $15.00 per color per location and there is a 36 piece minimum that applies to reorders. With digital custom t-shirt printing you can reorder one piece at the price you originally paid!
As for durability, our custom t-shirts that are printed on our Kornit machines are just as durable as our screen printed shirts.
