With July 5th, 2010 is fast approaching we are advising our custom t-shirt customers to book purchases now. The pending price increases are going to average about 10% on custom t-shirts and many brands may see more than that.

With the t-shirt market rebounding from last year's woes any disruption in sales trends could stifle that recovery. We firmly believe that cotton will continue to rise as world demand out paces production. Look for shortages in many brands of t-shirts towards the end of the summer. We anticipate the custom t-shirt giants like Gildan and Hanes will control supply in such a way that the deals of the past will be lost for some time.

We anticipate a consumer backlash. Prices have remained low for nearly 10 years but that party is over.
