Custom Embroidered Polo Shirts come in a variety of styles spread out over three levels of quality.
The first quality level would be referred to as “promotional grade” product. Promotional grade custom embroidered polo shirts are the cheapest and have the least amount of bells and whistles. These custom embroidered shirts should not be demeaned by the implication that they are junk. These shirts have specific uses such as restaurants, construction and other trades where cost is an issue because the products become easily damaged and requires constant replacement. This is the category where most “pocket shirts” reside. The fabric in these polo shirts is often 4.5 – 5.5 ounces.
The second level of quality is referred to as “mid-range” custom embroidered polo shirts. These shirts come in a wider array of colors and generally have much better appointments than the promotional grade products. These shirts typically fit better and hold their shape for a much longer period of time. Many of these shirts such as Anvil, Gildan, Outer Banks and Jerzees are priced between $13.00 and $20.00. All of the major label brands are pre-shrunk and quite durable. Many of the best value shirts are in this category. The fabric weight in these shirts is between 6.1 and 6.8 ounces.
The third level of quality is “high end”. These custom embroidered polo shirts are design to look “well dressed”. This level of polo shirts can be worn for golf, corporate casual and general social occasions. Higher end product is where performance fabrics such as “dri-fit” are found. Brands include Devon and Jones ( BEST VALUE), Adidas and Nike. Typically these shirts start in the mid $20.00 range. Certain Adidas and Nike shirts are as expensive as $50.00 or more. Expect the average price for these types of shirts to be close to $30.00. Fabric weight is generally lighter in this category but the material is better quality. We can put you in great custom emboidery regardless of your budget.
